One-Day Mountain Bike Skills Clinic

Transform Your Riding in a Single Day

This one is for the Weekend Warriors!

 

If our weekday class don’t fit your schedule, our One-Day MTB Class brings the best of our School of Dirt, School of Tech, and School of Shred programs into one immersive day on the bike.

The morning is all about building solid foundations. In a controlled, supportive environment, our coaches will help you refine your technique, dial in key skills, and boost confidence where it matters most. Expect focused, practical coaching that meets you at your level.

In the afternoon, we take it to the trails. This is where everything comes together. You’ll apply what you’ve learned on real terrain, with coaches offering feedback and guidance as you ride. It’s a dynamic, hands-on way to turn practice into performance.

Designed for all levels, this full-day format is a great way to sharpen your skills, ride with intention, and experience how professional coaching can elevate your time on the bike.

These One-Day MTB Classes were created for

> Riders that aren’t able to attend our weeknight School of Dirt, School of Tech or School of Shred.

 

> Attempting to put the pieces together and having no idea what you're doing on the trails.

 

> Wanting to ride comfortably and confidently. You don't want to be fearful anymore.

 

> Frustrated with not being able to ride sections of the trail and are tired of walking your bike a lot, crashing, and maybe even injuring yourself.

 

> Looking for people to ride with and a community of like-minded riders to be a part of.

> Looking for an outdoor hobby that you enjoy and will improve fitness and health.

What you will Learn

We've all been there and want to spare you from learning the hard way! Our professional, knowledgeable, and inspiring instructors break down the skills and techniques below into simple and actionable steps that are fun to learn and easy to remember. 

Utilizing drills and man-made features and stunts, we’ll practice them first in a safe and controlled environment before taking our newly learned skills to the trails! By the end of the Class, you will have a newfound confidence on your bike and lots to practice!

Beginner Group

Glazed | Chocolate Dipped

/ Bike Setup and Maintenance

We'll show you how to prepare your bike for riding, how to do a safety check, and how to set up your bike for you.

/ Body Positioning Balance

Learn the correct fundamental body positions that will help you stay relaxed and mobile through more advanced terrain.

/ Gearing & Shifting

Learn how to select the appropriate gear to pedal efficiently in various terrain and avoid unnecessary fatigue.

/ Braking

Confidently control your speed and learn how to safely use both brakes (yes, the front brake too!)

/ Trail Scanning & Line Selection

How to better read the trail and become a proactive rider instead of getting caught off guard by obstacles.

Intermediate Group

Vanilla Sprinkles | Boston Cream

/ Refine Fundamentals

Refine and correct the fundamental body positions & skills that will help you stay relaxed and mobile and more efficient through more advanced terrain.  

/ Climbing & Descending

Conquer technical (rooty and rocky) climbs with efficiency and avoid unnecessary fatigue. Tackle technical descents (rooty and rocky) with confidence.

/ Cornering

Learn the techniques to safely ride berms, switchbacks, and back-to-back corners.

/ Front & Back Wheel Lifts

Learn how to smooth out your riding by lifting both wheels over obstacles (up to 12"). 

/ Better Bike Handling Skills

Drills and obstacles specifically designed to challenge and better your balance and bike handling skills (i.e. trackstands).

Advanced Group

Jelly | Maple Bacon

/ Pumping, Speed & Flow

Learn how to generate free speed, carry flow through every section, and descend faster with precision and control. 

/ Advanced Maneuvers

Push your limits and explore the playful side of riding by learning wheelies, manuals, endos, bunny hops, and trackstands. 

/ Advanced Cornering

Dial in your body position, braking, and line choice to carve perfect turns with speed and flow, whether it's a berm or tight switchback. 

/ Ride Challenging Obstacles

Ride big rocks, rock gardens, skinnies, and man-made features with confidence and control using refined technical skills and pro-level precision.

/ Better Bike Handling Skills

Sharpen your reflexes, balance, and finesse with advanced drills and obstacles designed to challenge even seasoned riders. Perfect your technique and elevate your overall ride feel.

Drove 2 hours to take part in a one day MTB course, and it was well worth it. Solid coaching, with a focus on fundamentals that will, with practice, yield efficient and safe riding and an improved skillset.

The coaches were knowledgeable, approachable, and the other riders were friendly and positive. It was like riding with friends, even though we'd only just met. Fond memories and I will likely return to take part again.
