Ready to Build Your Confidence?

Updated: Nov 15, 2022

10 Reasons to Take a Private MTB Lesson

Summer is just about upon us, but the riding season has been underway for quite some time already.

At least enough time to recognize areas you're struggling with, lack knowledge or confidence with, or have your sights set on a new feature to tackle. Whatever it may be, here are ten reasons why taking a mountain bike lesson will help you accomplish those goals, build your confidence, and so much more.

  1. Learn from a professional, qualified and supportive instructor.

  2. Safety! Fewer crashes, less injury, rider safer.

  3. Lessons teach and use the appropriate content, drills, skills, and trails, tailored 100% to you.

  4. Lessons build confidence on the bike and the trails so you can ride more comfortably and consistently.

  5. Accelerate your skill progression and acquisition.

  6. Lessons provide the feedback you need to master what you're working on.

  7. Clean up bad habits. Instructors see things you can't and know what to look for.

  8. Build a better relationship with your bike. Understand what you're doing and why you're doing it instead of just how to do something.

  9. Build a stronger foundation on the bike to be adaptable to ride a wider variety of trails and locations.

  10. Extras! Learn proper trail etiquette, suggestions for the right gear you need, and asses/correct your bike fit.

Bonus: The best upgrade to any bike is a better rider.

If you have your goals set out for the season or have an area you're struggling with or looking to build your confidence, book a Private Lesson to progress your skills and build a deeper understanding and relationship with your mountain bike.

Private Experiences are just over the hill! With the recent update from the Government of Ontario, we hope to resume our services on June 14. Be sure to join our Weekly Send to be the first to know when Private Experiences are available again to book!
